Is there a way to programmatically set up a Form Recognizer Studio - Custom Form project? If not, is it on the roadmap?

I want to automate the process of uploading sets of forms to be labeled to blob storage, creating a custom form project for each set of forms, then providing the project-specific URLs of the labeling tool to a team to perform the labeling.

What we're looking for is an API to manage custom form projects within Form Recognizer Studio, so that we can do the following:

Create custom form projects

Get the project-specific URLs to the (v3.0) labeling tool

Delete custom form projects

We have thousands of existing document templates that we want to train, and we'll have new document templates to train daily.

The current manual process of setting up a custom form project is cumbersome. It requires that a user manually enter a project name, then select the correct subscription, resource group, form-recognizer resource, API version, storage container, and blob container.

We want to instead automate all that setup for a custom form project, then have a member of our labeling team click on the project-specific link to the (v3.0) labeling tool to perform the labeling. After labeling, our system would initiate the training via the Custom model API (v3.0) and keep track of the custom form project and trained model.

We want our system to keep track of the custom form projects so that we can direct the labeling team to label additional forms to retrain models as needed, or to delete the custom projects that are no longer needed. We don't want to have the labeling team spending time searching for the correct projects, or manually creating projects and manually keeping track of them within Form Recognizer Studio.

Were you able to check with the product manager regarding this scenario? Like the original poster, we too are in the need to provide the labeling/training team the ability to quickly get to the correct project.

This is a very important topic for us as well. Please let us know if there is any way to programmatically solve this issue. Maybe through model copy?
