Hi everyone.

I had to reinstall a machine due to HDD failure. It got fresh Windows, Office etc. Outlook .pst and .ost files gone with the old HDD. No backups available.

After reinstalling and setting up Outlook it wouldn't synchronize the mailbox folder structure, but only displays the default folders like Inbox, Outbox, Junk etc. The user has built additional folders where she stores the messages according to sender/recipient. For example all communication with Mary is stored in folder Mary which is subfolder to Inbox. These additional folders are available on the mail server and visible when she logs in using browser, but no folders or messages contained in them are available in her brand new Outlook. She uses Amazaon Workmail. During installation I set the Outlook "Mail to keep offline" setting to "All", so it shouldn't be cashing issue.

Any Ideas how to get these folders back in Outlook?

Well, thanks for the lack of help!

I finally figured it out, so:

    1. In the Navigation Pane, right-click the top folder for your account - ******@blah-blah.bleh.
    2. Click "IMAP Folders". If "IMAP Folders" isn't available repeat this step on "Inbox" instead.
    3. Get rid of that on the screenshot.

    4) Apply, OK, go buy me a beer and give it time to sync.

4.1) If still no luck, start over, repeat the above steps and after you bought me a beer click "Query".
4.2) Click a folder, or select them all with CTRL+C or CTRL+Shift, then click "Subscribe".
    5) Apply, OK, go buy me another beer and give it time to sync.

In my case, I went all the way and subscribed, later on unsubscribed, so I think the check box alone does the trick.

I spent two days googling for a solution and found NONE.
