Error while checking on checkbox filter - razor pages

Hi ,

I have page which displays the added records with search option and filtering option. For acheiving filter option i used checkbox. Onclick of checkbox will click the search box submit button. Attached file have the code. 157680-requestsummary.txt

My issue is i am getting this error when i clcik on Open Request.

ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. Key: OpenRequest

The other CheckBox works fine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @Blooming Developer ,

The code you provided seems correct, and the issue might not relate to this part of the code.

ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. Key: OpenRequest

And the above exception is clear, it has already been added a OpenRequest with the same key, I suggest you check the RequestSummary Get method (because you are setting the Get method on the <form> tag), whether you are inserting duplicate OpenRequest?

Finally, if still not find the reason, I suggest you Post the RequestSummary model page or create a simple sample to reproduce the problem?

Thanks for the reply. I found one thing. When the requestform count is zero, its not throwing any error ,if count is greater than zero its throwing error.
Its passing the clicked checkbox value twice through the url parameters.

https://localhost:44392/RequestSummary?SearchString=&CompletedRequest=true&OpenRequest=false&CompletedRequest=false&ImplementedRequest=false

This is screen where i need acheive the filter method.is there anyother method to filter out the list on checkbox checked event.

Which methods you are using to pass the parameters to the back-end, submit the form with get method or use jquery to generate the request url with parameter and send request?

If you are using the submit form method, please check the form's elements, perhaps there have duplicate elements with the same name attribute, try to use F12 developer tools to check it and then remove it,

If you are using the JQuery and Ajax method to pass data, please check the code to generate the url.
