dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
sfc /scannow

Windows Update

Information de version :

Edition : Windows Server 2019 Standard
Version : 1809
Build : 17763.2366

Merci

Translate in english (sorry but i'm frenchie and my english isn't very good so i use google translate)

Hello, I allow myself to ask this question here because, despite my research on the Internet, I have not managed to solve the problem.

When I do a Windows Update search I have KB2267602 with the error 0x80070643 which keeps coming back.

I have already tested:

cleaning windows update with the Disk cleaning tool
rename the SoftwareDistribution folder
dism / online / cleanup-image / restorehealth
sfc / scannow

and several reboots without success. I don't know what to try anymore. If anyone has any leads, I'm a taker.

This server copies the AD, DNS and DHCP roles. The other server that hosts the same roles is working fine.

The following services are successfully started (and in automatic start):

Background transfer service
Windows Update

Version Info:

Edition: Windows Server 2019 Standard
Version: 1809
Build: 17763.2366

Best regards,

You can also try a repair install by running setup.exe from the root of the install media but time may be better spent standing up a new one for replacement.

I'd use dcdiag / repadmin tools to verify health correcting all errors found before starting any operations. Then stand up the new 2019 or 2022, patch it fully, license it, join existing domain, add active directory domain services, promote it also making it a GC (recommended), transfer FSMO roles over (optional), transfer pdc emulator role (optional), use dcdiag / repadmin tools to again verify health, when all is good you can decommission / demote old one.
