Please explain more detail about the problem you are meeting?

The ASP.NET Core 3.1 and later templates offer authentication in Single Page Apps (SPAs) using the support for API authorization. ASP.NET Core Identity for authenticating and storing users is combined with IdentityServer for implementing OpenID Connect. More detail information, see Authentication and authorization for SPAs.

It isn't the ASP.NET CORE 3.1. It is "the visual studio 2019 - QuickApp - Asp.net core 5/Angular 11 Webapplication (.Net Core) template". It is complete template with login using Angular 11 and dotnet core 5 with sql database backend etc (much more than the one provided with dotnet core 3.1).

in the template, the startup.cs has this piece of code:

and I have changed it to use it and store data in database instead. I ending up having a lot files in a databases. However, the web app isn't working. I wonder I have missed or have done wrong. I would like to get feedback or help from people familiar with the process.

If needed, I can provide you source code in my git.
