I have tried the simple export on the print manager on our print server 2016 although it did not include the comment info in each queue. Is there a simple way that I can include it? thanks

    Hi @Rolf Baum

You can use Microsoft’s Print Management Console to migrate certain types of printer ports like Standard TCP/IP or WSD ports and you cannot include the comment info in each queue. Unfortunately, it cannot migrate local ports like null or the PaperCut TCP/IP Port.

These ports can be migrated or backed up without issue:

    -Standard TCP/IP Ports
    -WSD Ports
-COM1, LPT1 (since these already exist by default in Windows)

    Hope this resolves your Query!!
