Power Pivot refresh error on Refresh All, but works when refreshing one by one

Andrea Morillo 1 Reputation point

I have an data model in Power Pivot that reads from an Access Database. The connection is set to Refresh All automatically when the file is opened. It had been working smoothly until today.

When opening the file, I am getting the error "The operation failed because the source database does not exist, the source table does not exist, or because you do not have access to the data source". Needless to say, none of that is true. The structure of the database has not changed, nor the location or table names.

Interestingly, when I go into the data model in Power Pivot and refresh each table individually, the connection works and the data flows without errors. There are no errors on individual refresh.

Any thoughts?
