My app, and also some apps installed from the Store, have a tiny icon in the taskbar on Windows 11, with the background in the Windows accent color, although they should have a transparent background. On Windows 10, the app icons are displayed as expected, larger and without a background color.
Which image file do I need to add to the package project of my WPF desktop bridge solution or my UWP project to see the same icon in the taskbar under Windows 11 as under Windows 10?

I have to say that currently, questions about windows 11 are supported on Microsoft Q&A yet. For questions about windows 11, you could go to Feedback Hub and report it.
This is simply a developer question. As a developer, I feel responsible for ensuring that the user gets the look and feel they want from my app, even with the newly released Windows 11.
I can't understand why you set the tag to 'not-supported'. It seems from my point of view that I have to act as an developer to get the desired appearance of the taskbar icons. Is it not a development problem from your point of view?
I fully understand your feelings, but due to the policy of Microsoft Q&A, any questions about windows 11 are not supported on Microsoft Q&A right now even if your question is a development question. If your question happens on Windows 10 as well, then that will be an issue. Currently, the Feedback hub is the main channel from where Microsoft collects feedback about windows 11. This is the same when the Windows 10 new build comes out.
I have now added the following images to the package project. One of these files is apparently used for the taskbar, with transparent background and in the desired size.
