Hi there,

I am using yandex corporate mail service. I've experimented with many versions of office. Always; I do not receive mail, the mails I send stay in the "outbox".

When I uninstall and reinstall the Outlook profile, the problem is solved for a while. Sometimes 1 hour, sometimes 1 day later, the same problems occur again. Android outlook has the same problem.

Yandex mail application works without any problems on Android. Mozilla thunderbird works fine on windows. What is this outlook and yandex's problem? Do you have a suggested solution?

    Hi @Serhat E ,
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and posting your question using the tag” office-outlook-itpro” which mainly focus on general issues about Outlook desktop client.
In order to verify your issue, please provide some related information:

    1. What version of outlook are you currently using? (File > Office Account > About Outlook)
    2. What type of account are you using? Is it an IMAP account?
    3. Does this problem also exist on the web?
    4. Do other users in your company have the same problem?

According to my search, it is recommended that you use the following workaround:

    • Make sure the connection is working properly, check the bottom of your Outlook like the following screenshot 159164-connected.png
If you see Disconnected, Working Offline, or Trying to connect…, Outlook can't reach the email server to send your mail.
Choose Send/Receive > Preferences > Work Offline to toggle between offline mode and online mode and test if it works.
    • Some anti-virus programs may cause thie problem, if you use anti-virus programs, disable them and see if the problem persists.
    • To verify whether it is related to third add-ins, run your Outlook in safe mode:
      Click "Win+R", type outlook.exe /safe

    Hi @Faery Fu-MSFT !

    Starting from the last question;

    • We do not use a plugin, the problem persists with the safe option you mentioned,
    • We were using antivirus, so we closed it because the tool might cause problems. We don't have any antivirus that we use,
    • Our outlook software is "online". When we send/receive it says "done" but the problem persists. The only problem is it takes a long time to send/receive,
    • There are 20 users. Only 2 users have a problem,
    • I searched on the internet. There are people who have the same problem. If there is a solution, the solution has not been shared,
    • Using IMAP [ yandex shares settings on support website ]
    • 2013, 365 ve pp2016(tried versions)
    • End

Hi @Serhat E ,thanks for your reply.

The only problem is it takes a long time to send/receive,

Given that you are using an IMAP account, try the following workaround:

    1. In Send/Receive tab, click Send/Receive Group, click Define Send/Receive Group, and change the automatic sending and receiving time interval to 1 minute.
    2. Set the Root folder path: File > Account Settings > Account Settings > double-click your IMAP account > More Settings > Advanced > Root Folder Path: INBOX

When I uninstall and reinstall the Outlook profile, the problem is solved for a while.

For further confirmation, have you created a new profile added the IMAP account to test?
Here are the detailed steps you can refer to:
    (1) Exit Outlook.
    (2) In Control Panel, click Mail.
    (3) Choose Show Profiles> Add. In the Profile Name box, type a name for the profile, and then choose OK.
Besides, if above doesn't help, it is recommended you Repair office from control pane

The settings you mean are opened with the Ctrl + Alt + S keys. Send and receive time has been reduced. But even if we send/receive manually, it doesn't work :)

For further confirmation, have you created a new profile added the IMAP account to test?

Yes, we added 3 different mail. 2 same domain, 1 different domain. But all domains under yandex services.
