Cannot add account in microsoft authorizer

Question

Hi, I have the following problem:

I need to add my account on Microsoft Authenticator to authenticate me to another service (Azure Devops).
When I try to add my account on Authenticator, i am not able to do it because the only way I can verify my identity is via the same Authenticator, or using a verify code that i can get only after I have added my account.
I was expecting to have an option like "validate via SMS", but i can't see it.

What can I do?
