Hello,

I have a user account who want migrate from Skype to Teams but it seems to have failed.

We keep getting an error message that "The configuration needs to be finalized with Microsoft support"

Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this problem.

    Hi @IBN

Do you mean you want to migrate Skype for Business User to Microsoft Teams?

Is this Skype for Business user on-premise or online?

Here are the several steps you need to consider before the user migration:

    1) Update Skype for Business Server. If you have Lync Server 2013, you need to do a 2-step migration to Skype for Business 2015 / 2019 first and then Microsoft Teams OR setup hybrid with Skype for Business Online if your tenant permits and then move from Skype for Business Online to Microsoft Teams

2)Purchase Licenses. You need to purchase Office 365 Licenses for all users.

    3)Configure hybrid connectivity.

4)Move user from Skype for Business to Teams only.

    5)Decommission Skype for Business.
