Subject :- Visual Studio 2022 ( Performance - Load Testing) - Business Central 365

Hello ,

I would like to know which version of visual studio load test will be feasible for ERP Business Central 365

-> I have tried with the trial version (Enterprise) of Visual studio 2022 . I understand that visual studio only supports Internet Explorer as the default browser for performance testing .

-> Also I can see 'browser not supported' message if business central 365 is opened in Internet Explorer

Could you please suggest how to enable Microsoft edge and Chrome for the above questions

Which version of Visual Studio Load Test will be feasible for ERP Business Central 365?

Actually, VS 2019 is the last version where load testing is fully available, but Load Test only supports Internet Explorer(IE), so if you’d like to use Load Test, you need to use IE to test. And it is not possible to enable Microsoft Edge and Chrome for Load Test in VS.

I see that IE 11 desktop application will end support for certain operating systems starting June 15, 2022, but I’m not very sure whether Business Central 365 has been removed to (support) Microsoft edge.

Consider the error message: “browser not support”, and the tip here, I think, yes, IE doesn’t support Business Central 365 for now.

So, I’m afraid, we can only search for other alternative ways to test.
