How do I accept a Teams invitation from an email account not connected to teams, without joining the meeting? The only option I have to make a teams account with the email and then join the meeting. But the meeting is not until later next year so I just want to accept the meeting invitation?

    Hi @Brendan McFadden ,

Do you mean you are invited to be a guest of the sender's O365 Tenant? If that's the case, it doesn't need you to join a meeting.
I'm not sure what you've experienced, could you please provide more about it?

If that's a meeting request, you could RSVP accept from you Outlook client and join the meeting later on your Teams for desktop or for Web browsers.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards,
    Lou
