Can't see all azure tenants I should see

Hello there.
(This is a repost because I posted in the wrong directory I think https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/azure-active-directory-identity/can-t-see-all-azure-tenants-i-should-see/m-p/3032527#M7013)

When switching between directories in the azure portal, there is one directory that isn't visible (but should be). This happens when I simply head to portal.azure.com, click on my account in the top right and choose 'switch directory', see screenshot below.

However, if I head to the direct URL for that directory instead (https://portal.azure.com/tenantnamehere.onmicrosoft.com)

I do see all the resource groups, services etc (as I should), and it also shows up when I head to the 'switch directory' list again! See screenshot below

I have no idea how this happens, nor how to resolve this. None of my colleagues have this issue.

I have already tried the following (Including the items here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/azure-active-directory-identity/switch-directory-not-working-...)

-Restore default settings

-Clear cookies and cache

-Try private/incognito/guest session

-Try different browser

-Try mobile browser

-Try different internet connection

    Hi @Manu Demoen ,

In your screenshot I notice that your startup directory is set to "last visited." After signing in with the direct URL, you can select "change" and save a directory in the "Select a directory" section, or select the star to favorite one of the directories on that list. That should at least resolve the issue of defaulting to the wrong tenant.

Sometimes this can happen if you have both a personal account and a work/school account connected to the same email. I also would recommend going to the My Account portal and making sure you have signed in with the right account there. https://myaccount.microsoft.com/

There is one other scenario where I have seen this happen. If your user account at any point was deleted and re-created after the invitation to join the other tenant was sent and redeemed, the link between the tenant and the user object could be broken, and your current user object (used to access the portal through the direct link) could be different from the initial one that was invited. In this case the solution would be to remove and reinvite your user account.

Let me know if this helps at all.

    Hi @Marilee Turscak-MSFT .
I'm pretty sure the last Scenario that you mentioned is what's going on here since I left and rejoined the company.
Is there a possibility to retain all security settings set-up when removing and reinviting the account? Or any other option besides removing and reinviting?

I also tried changing the default directory as you mentioned, but it just gives me this error when I head to portal.azure.com
