Visual Studio 2019 taking longer time to build and debug unit tests

Question

I am using visual studio 2019 enterprise version 16.11.3. I am facing few issues like loading the solutions are taking more time than expected and while building the solutions normally it will take 20-30 minutes for building but it took 3 hours for me to complete the building process.
while debugging every unit test also it takes 10-15 minutes to hit the breakpoint. Please help me in resolving the issue

Please create a new project and check if the situation disappears or not.

I suggest you update your Visual Studio 2019 to the latest version and rebuild solution.

It requires quite a lot of data to be collected from your machine for such investigations, so you'd better report to Microsoft and wait for a response, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/ide/how-to-report-a-problem-with-visual-studio?view=vs-2019 If you can afford it, open a support case via http://support.microsoft.com for quicker resolution.
