HPUpdate.exe - Bad Image

A few days ago my computer started shoving this pop-up into my face every so often:

HPUpdate.exe - Bad Image
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\WPF\PresentationNative_v0400.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.

When I boot up I will often have to dismiss two or three of these, and it's woken up in the middle of the night multiple times, waking me up once or twice as collateral. Ever since this started happening, my internet has been slower and both Discord and Razer Synapse have refused to function. I've attempted to install Discord multiple times and it refuses to work with me. I've also been getting regular "suggestions" that I can upgrade for free to Windows 11. I do not want to do this. I think Windows 11 is terrible and am happy just the way things are.

Probably some printer or scanner or HP diagnostics software. I'd check the HP site for an updated version of the software you're using.

I believe this is an error with the HP Update program.
For testing try uninstall it and restart your PC and see if the problem persist?
If not visit HP support website and download and install it.
