We have App Protection Policies enabled in Endpoint Manager. Why did I get a notification when I opened Excel for the first time on my IOS phone after the policy was applied to protect my data even if I am logged in using a personal O365 account? I thought the App Protection Policies would only protect "org data," which is my work or anything associated with my work email?

Could this be because my Outlook has my work account signed in, thus it affects all my Office apps regardless of whether I am logged in using my personal account in Excel and OneDrive? Could someone please explain if this is the expected behavior?

This is the notification I got on my phone, "Your organization is now protecting its data in this app. You need to restart the app to continue."

Thank you.
