How can I enable ScreenRecording (Video) of my UWP by the XBox GameBar App? Now it's only possible if I build it with VisualStudio. If I install it out the Microsoft-Store it is not possible.

Yep, we could reproduce this problem, and it looks the game bar can't get your app's window that install from store, and currently there is workaround that use screen capture api your app to replace the game bar.

Please try use InjectKeyboard for your app to simulate press Win +G to call game bar.

My problem is not to start XBox GameBar. If I start my App its not possible to record it. I think there' s missing a capability perhaps. In other UWPs like MyTube or Calculator it works without problems.

I tested with blank app, but I can't reproduce your problem. could you mind share us with repro sample ?

I also can't reproduce it bacause out of VisualStudio it works fine (see picture). But if download it from the store the ability is hidden.

I tried run my uwp app in full screen, however screen capture could work well. we can't reproduce your problem.

Do you have published it to the store? Because out of VisualStudio it worked fine for me, too. It does also if I install the MSIX Bundle of my App.
If I install the published MSIX Bundle it fails.

I tested it, too. But I found other examples that doesn't work like my App GeometrySketch:

Quick Pad - Fluent Notepad App

Files - File Manager for Windows

I think they all are missing a special dependency, but I don't know what and I don't find it in the XamlControlsGalleryApp. Or they have a dependency that crashes the recording ability. Is there any documantation abaout that?

And I can't test it, because in debugging or release mode in VisualStudio it works every time. So, I must publish it to the store to test changes. It's very problematic.
