    Hi ,

Windows 10 uses a lot of technologies that require your system to contact Microsoft servers, Windows Automatic Update, telemetry, usage statistics, error reporting ,Edge . . . etc.

Generally, we don't need to worry about it as it should be safe.

Based on my research, this IP address is used by Microsoft Edge. It seems the Microsoft Edge browser will automatically send data to Microsoft and this function cannot be turned off. You can switch to IE and then check again.

    Hi,

You can try to add a new Outbound rule on the Advanced Settings of your Windows Firewall to block this connection.

Follow this : OutBound Rule > New Rule > Custom > All programs > Protocol type: Any > Which remote IP addresses does this rule apply to > These IP addresses > Enter the desired IP address > Block the connection > Select the Domain, Private and Public > Specify a name of this rule.

NB: If it works locally, you can apply this change using GPO to all your Windows Server.
