Visual Studio 2022 Spell Checker Settings and Controls

Question

VS 2022 roadmap promised a built-in spell checker yet I'm not finding any settings under Tools->Options that match keyword "spell" nor do I see any spell checker like red lines informing me of bad spelling in any comments in code.

The Visual Studio 2022 editor will have a built-in spell-checker to help you code more accurately with fewer errors.

The feature is not available in Visual Studio 2022 currently, it is being actively developed now.

You can add your comments in the ticket to track the process, then we need to waiting for the response comes from the product team engineers.

I make comments in Dutch. The spell checker looks for english, marks the Dutch as errors and make the code badly readable.

I cannot swith off the spell check. It would be nice if this was possible

YES! There's a checkbox for such thing, named "Text spell checker".

You can find it under Tools->Options->Environment->Preview Features->Text spell checker
