When you perform a clean install on the C: drive it will not affect other drivers (unless you manually format them). Take a note that in case you perform a Clean install on a driver which Windows has been installed, your files and data will be placed into a folder called Windows.old and you may retrieve them. However, you have to reinstall all your applications.
It is also recommended to backup your files before the upgrade.
Windows 11 upgrade : Keep Personal data not available
I'm currently using windows 11 insider preview. While installing windows 11 using both Installation Assistant and Installation media,
The option for keeping personal data and files is not available. Only the clean install option is available. I have all my system files in C Drive and personal files in D Drive. Will it Erase D Drive if I choose clean install?

2022-01-01T02:54:59.26+00:00 The opening post indicated the system files were located on C: and personal files on D:
There was no image of disk management.
There was no comment about the location of D:.
Is D: on the another disk drive or the same drive as C:?
When performing a clean install all partitions are deleted on a disk drive.
So if D: is on the same disk drive then it will be deleted.
Please backup all important files to another disk drive or the cloud.
Then clean install Windows 11.

2022-01-04T08:46:52.95+00:00 Hi there,
This can be caused by a trivial problem like the language settings of your system. Corrupted or problematic drivers can also produce this issue so make sure you update them.
Change system locale from Control Panel and see if that helps you out.
-Open Control Panel and go to Region.
-Go to the Administrative tab and click on Change system locale.
-Set Current system locale to English (United States) and click OK to save changes
-Click Apply and OK in the Region window.
-Restart your computer and try to upgrade to Windows 11 again and see if you can keep your files.
