Bitlocker stuck on encrypting

Question

Wife had to encrypt all drives on her computer for business purposes.

When we tried to access info on one drive we could not see anything. So we decided to turn bl off on that drive.

But now, we have a little window that says "bitlocker encrypting" and it is stuck at 45.5%. We have let the computer run overnight and it stays at the same percentage.

I have tried everything that I can find... manage-bde, repair-bde and nothing seems to work. If we try to turn off bitlocker on that drive it says that you cannot turn bl off because it is encrypting...

I have rebooted in safe mode and tried everything there but that is a no go also.

So, is there any way to stop the encrypting process? Is there any way to get the process "unstuck?"

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
