I'm new to Intune and had a question about resetting an iPhone.
I did a wipe to factory default on a managed Company iPhone using Microsoft Endpoint Mgr (Intune).
The iPhone rebooted and displayed a Hello message, I swiped up and received the message below.
"This iPhone is linked to an Apple ID. Enter the Apple ID and password that were used to set up this iPhone."
The iPhone appears in Apple Business Manager and shows up in the MEM Admin Center under Devices>iOS/iPadOS->OS/iPadOS enrollment>Enrollment program token>Token Name(XXX)>Devices and did appear in Devices>iOS/iPadOS>iOS/iPadOS devices before the wipe.
How do I remove the previous employees Apple ID with the wipe so that the iPhone can be reset for deployment to a new employee.
What settings need to be changed or configured to enable this functionality.
I have an activated test iPhone configured with my Apple ID that can be used for test wiping.
The phone was added to the Devices>iOS/iPadOS->OS/iPadOS enrollment>Enrollment program token>Token Name(XXX)>Profiles>iOS Test Enrollment Profile
and then the Intune Company Portal App was downloaded and installed from the App store and the phone was then enrolled.
