Exchange 2019 Transport Service Not Starting

Whenever I try to start Microsoft Exchange Transport service from services.msc, I am getting "Error 12008 Microsoft Exchange couldn't read the Receive connector configuration. The service will be stopped."

My environment has Microsoft Exchange 2019 on-prem installed.

I can access my mail using Outlook, but no mail-flow as the transport service could not start.

    Hi @Se Yeen Tan ,

Did you disable the IPv6 on the server?

If you did, try to enable it and restart the server.

    If the issues still persists.

Try renaming the queue folder, and the exchange will create a new folder .

This will happen if the contents of the folder become corrupt.

Here’s the path of the folder.

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\TransportRoles\data
