For this issue, there is no direct method to make it via intune. Based on my research, it was found that Windows AppLocker is a technology that allow we to restrict which programs users can execute based on the program's attributes.
So, it seems that we can generate the XML that block the particular extension via AppLocker and then deploy a custom profile to devices via intune. Here is an sample link about using AppLocker to create custom Intune policies for Windows 10 apps.
