nHappy new year and hello.
On my old laptop (Windows 10) and my desktop (Windows 10) I can reach my NAS in Windows explorer.
On my new laptop (Windows 11) I can't.
I see the message :
( this is translated from Dutch .. please forgive me for errors)
\NAS is not accessible.
You possible don't have the authority for this networksource.
Make contact with the administrator.
The given networkname is no more available.
\NAS or \192.16x.xxx.x don't work in Explorer ... there appears a window that asks for network credentials.
There I fill in the name and password for the NAS and the window appears again :
\NAS is not accessible.
You possible don't have the authority for this networksource.
Make contact with the administrator.
The given networkname is no more available.
A sort of vicious circle.
The NAS is accessible through HTTP .. no problem.
The NAS is visible in Windows explorer ... when I click it ... the story repeats itself .. no connection.
They both are in WORKGROUP.
Smb 1 is on.
Hopefully you recognise the problem ... and help me.
Gr,
Marito
