Need to stop Edge from automatically signing me in with my personal account on my work computer.

I logged in to edge ONE TIME on my computer at work & now it has my phone number saved.
When I click log in, it says "Lets get you signed in!" & shows my phone number, then when I click that it automatically signs me in.

I have tried everything to stop this from happening. Turned off my sync, so I lost all my saved information on my phone & laptop just to have it not work.

No matter what I do it still has my phone number pop up.. I have tried to figure out how to delete the User Profile off my computer but cant even find that because this computer is so old..

I am so frustrated I am about to just delete my entire account...

I get really anxious knowing that anyone at any time could log on to my personal account at my work..

I did the authenticator option but that still lets me log in to edge, its only when I try to log on to microsoft that it asks me to authenticate.

HOW DO I DELETE MY STUPID PROFILE OFF MY COMPUTER SO IT STOPS POPPING UP WITH MY ENTIRE PHONE NUMBER AND PASSWORD???

For better understanding the issue, I want to confirm the following things with you:

You say "logged in to edge", do you mean log in Edge profile or any other websites? Could you please provide a screenshot of the issue so that we can have a better understanding of the issue?

You say "delete the User Profile off my computer", do you mean the Edge profile or Windows account of your work computer?

Which version of Edge and OS are you using?

So I downloaded Edge on my Windows 7 computer at work.

I hit "New Profile"
It asked me to log in so I entered my Microsoft information.

Then it asked me to sync & I clicked yes.

Now, when I log off of my edge profile it signs me out, but somehow my "Microsoft Account" information is somehow stored somehwere.
Because when I click log in it shows a pop up saying

"Let's get you signed in!"
& it shows my Entire phone number.

If I click that it automatically logs me in, NO password entered, NO two step authentication or anything.

I turned on two step authenticator hoping that at least if someone tried to log in as me I would be notifified.

HOWEVER, two step ONLY works on logging into to Microsoft accounts specifially not logging in to Edge??

So now I'm over here searching to the far ends of the earth just to try to figure out how to stop this from happening.

I have clicked every link you guys have given on these forums and NOTHING works.

It is a Windows 7 computer, Running Edge on whatever Windows 7 software that is.

I can understand what situation you are in now. As I don't have a Windows 7 computer to test now, I can only give you some suggestions to try.

I guess you're using a Microsoft account to log in Edge Chromium. When you log in once, the account has been remembered by the computer and you can use it to sign in Microsoft apps. The only way is to delete the account in computer account settings. You can refer to this thread and this article to try the methods in them to see if you can delete the account.
