i am completely new to teams and i have two questions. I have a team and it has channels. One of my user wants to change two channels from public to private is it possible.

No, it’s not feasible. Standard channels cannot be converted to private channels and vice versa. See Private channels in Microsoft Teams.

user wants A2 channel to connect to one of the team site folder of ABC is it possible.

By this, do you mean the user wants to specify a different team site folder for A2 channel instead of using the default folder? If this is the case, it’s not supported either. As a workaround, it’s suggested to add the SharePoint folder URL as a website tab in A2 channel.


Or you can create a new document library in SharePoint with the ideal folder structure and then add it as a SharePoint tab in Teams. For more details, you may refer to Add a SharePoint page, list, or document library as a tab in Teams.
