I have seen this in the past and it was the result of the OS version on the VM and GPU Driver.
What OS have you installed? And are all drivers up to date?

Hi all
I am currently working on a virtualization project with Hyper-V. When I connect or open the main screen of the virtual machine to carry out the installation process of the operating system, the screen remains black, however, in the preview screen located at the bottom if it shows the correct status.
The virtual machines are implemented on a server with the following characteristics:
RAM: 128GB
DDH: 3.4TB
CPU: 32 processors
the virtual machine
RAM: 16GB
DDH: 300GB
CPU: 6 processors
Does anyone know what I have to do to be able to display on the main screen?

Hello YamidP,
I would recommend look in the next directions:
1) Ensure that GPU drivers are fully updated
2) If you are using a Gen2 virtual machine, try to add the storage to a Gen1 test VM to see if does make any difference
3) Update Integration services as explained in: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/virtualization/hyper-v/manage/manage-hyper-v-integration-services#keep-integration-services-up-to-date

I've just come across this same situation, I've found that at least on my PC I can't get hyper-v to show on any of my monitors with G-SYNC enabled, works just fine if I drag it to another screen.
