Microsoft Teams Recording Function for Microsoft 365 Personal

Hi, my organization has decided to stop renewal on Microsoft Teams business account. As such i've subcribed to Microsoft 365 Personal for business meeting. Is there anyway i could enable the recording function? Otherwise it will defeat the purpose of my subscription as i need to record some meetings. Thank you.

Yes, you need to meet certain pre-requisites, so that you can go for a hassle free recording to be worked in your Teams client. Please check anyone these requirements are missing as explained in the following picture:

I've checked that both sharepoints online and onedrive are enabled for my account, however I could not sync / add the sharepoint to Ms Teams. Can you please share further steps/guidelines so that i could follow through?

And where and how can i enable the CsTeamsmeeting Policy - Allowcloudrecording setting? Your feedback will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Teams for free do not support it. Recording isn't available in Teams free or by using Teams for personal life. It really comes down to the services necessary (licensing) for the recording feature.

You could refer to Updating the Calling Policy with PowerShell to know the detailed steps. It needs to run the command in Teams PowerShell Module.
