Anytime I try to access anything in the Partner Center I am given this error:

Not authorized
You don't have permission to perform this task. For assistance, contact your account administrator.

This is a personal account so there is no account administrator.

There is one thing that needs to be clarified first. The partner-center-general only handles questions about publishing apps to the Microsoft Store and questions about the Microsoft developer account. Is the partner center account you talking about a Microsoft developer account?

Could you please tell me where did you register the account? Are you trying to publish your app or you are a Microsoft partner? We need to check where your issue should belong so that we could redirect you there.

So you are trying to register as a developer. Then have you finished The account signup process when you register your account before?

I have cleared the cache, tried a different browser, and also tried a different device. None have seemed to work

Yes it is a personal, and I have tried another personal account and it worked. But I'd much prefer to be able to do it on this account.

Based on the error message, your personal is not a personal account. It has already been listed in a group in Partner Center. Like a role account under an administrator account. The fact using another account works proves this. You might need to open a free support ticket here: Contact Us with another account. Go to Contact us, find Non-Technical Support - Dashboard and choose CHAT NOW or SUBMIT AN INCIDENT. Then you could talk to the store team and check your account in the backend.

Just tell us it's a scam, I expect a refund from this experience (or lack thereof). Same thing is happening to me. Paid the $20 just to not even have access to my own account settings. Truly a wonder how a personal account(s) (I tried a 2nd time with another account) could possibly have an admin overseeing it without absolute transparency as to who or why. These emails have NEVER been tied to anything of the sort in the past and I don't understand how this was messed up this badly.

The same error is happening to me. I own the account, paid for the partner account, now says to contact my administrator for auth.... I'm the administrator. I'm confused. And it's not user friendly for support at all.
