Good day satria < @satria dharma > and welcome to the QnA forums

Notice that the error message include a path to the installation setup file. The full information about any issue which encounter during the installation should be well reported there. The GUI message usually only present the last error and only a short message which not always present the source of the issue.

It is a good idea to always read the information you get and follow it, for example check the error log file and provide the information from the log file whenever you open a question in forums :-)

According to the error information in the screenshot, it seems like the installation file was not found in the path where it searched for it.

The file which you download from the site is not the real file which include the SQL Server application but only a very small installer file that provides you options to control the way the SQL Server will be installed.

When you run the installer file, then it presents options to perform an installation or download media only.

    Try this first:

    (1) select the option to download the full file

    (2) Execute the file as one of the machine administrator (not as simple user!)

    This should solve the issue

If you are still having issues then (1) try to find more information in the installation setup file, and provide us with the information. (2) You might need to clean the previous attempt of the installation before trying again.

    Hi @satria dharma ,

Did you check whether the scenarioengine.exe is existed in the file location of C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\150\Setup Bootstrap\SQL2019\x64\?

Please download the SQL server 2019 setup from this MS link again, run the setup file as administrator. Then choose Download Media option.

Please clean the previous failed installation before doing a new installation.

If it is still not work, please share more related error message from SQL server detail setup log. Refer to View and Read SQL Server Setup Log Files.
