Having Issues to Redirect HTTP to HTTPS and Redirect Root to www"rules under CDN Profile

Question

I have a CDN profile configured and I have added two custom domains to it: www.rootdomain.com & rootdomain.com and enabled HTTPS for both. Https://www.rootdomain.com is working fine with no issues but rootdomain.com although I have done all of the below steps:

• Set up a CNAME “cdnverify.<yourdomain>” to “cdnverify.<endpoint>.azureedge.net”.
• Enabled the HTTPS feature and waited for the HTTPS feature with an SSL certificate to be processed
• Changed the Azure CDN Profile from the Standard to the Premium Verizon in order to use the Rule Engine feature
• Configured "Redirect HTTP to HTTPS" and "Redirect Root to www" rules under CDN Profile > Manage > HTTP Large > Rules Engine

And after doing all of the above I'm getting the error "HTTP 404 NOT FOUND" if I tried to visit http://www.rootdomain.com and I get google search results when I try to browse rootdomain.com

Can you please help to identify the problem and solve it.

Look like you have configured your redirection incorrectly. Please tell me what is your redirection requirement, HTTP to HTTPS or more?

For the root domain, I have added my cert.

Azure CDN don't support CDN Managed SSL Certificates for Apex/Root Domain. You must use Bring you own certificate incase if you are using a root or apex domain here.
