Can the application work on other machines?
You can try the following methods.

1. Clean "%userprofile%\Local Settings\Apps". folder
2. Close virus scanning software

This is a windows forms application.
I am using the following prerequisties:

• .Net framework 3,5 SP1
• Microsoft .Net framework 4 (x86 and x64)
• Tools for office runtime (x86 and x64)
• Window installer 4,5

System:
Versjon Windows 10 Pro
Versjon 21H2
Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0

The error I am getting did come after a windos update. Suddenly some client machins can not install the application.
I have read many threads with the same error dated back in 2006, 2009 and 2011. So this is a well know error.
I have tried all of the solutions povided, but none is fixing my problem.

The error message is:
