How do I remove Edge?

Question

Hi All,

I have a customer under PCI (Payment Card Industry) that has to keep all their programs up to date. It is much easier to do with the fewest programs.

The do not use or even like Edge. How do I get rid of Edge so I do not have to keep after its updates?

Which version of Edge and OS are you using? If you're using a recent version of Edge on Windows, as far as I know you can't uninstall it.
You can refer to this doc for more information about why you can't uninstall Edge.

Because Windows supports applications that rely on the web platform, our default web browser is an essential component of our operating system and can’t be uninstalled.

So basically, it is a ploy that can't be worked around and to keep M$'s stuff on your system like it or not. And that explains why it can't be removed.
