outlook copy events into shared calendar

Dear experts,

We have a need of importing events in batch into our Shared calendar, I've figured out the format to create .csv file and import it into outlook calendar.
However, there is no option we can select to import it into shared calendar which is under Public Folder.

Anyway we can import csv into shared calendar, and if that's not possible, can we copy all the events from our personal calendar into the shared calendar, we can't move it to be a new shared calendar, considering there are more than one member from different departments will update the same calendar.

Welcome to our forum!

As I know, we can move the items in personal calendar to shared calendar directly. For specific steps, please refer to:
1.In calendar view, select your personal calendar.

2.View>Change View>choose List.

3.Press Ctrl + A and right click, choose Move>Other Folder… or Copy to Folder>choose the folder you want to move.

Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry that this is not exactly what I was looking for.

The shared calendar is to be edited by more than myself, so we need the authorized users to update it, not everyone moves his local one to the public folder.

You just want to import the events in the CSV file to shared calendar, right?

If so, it's suggested to create a new calendar A in someone's personal calendar and import the CSV file, and then move the events in the calendar A to the shared calendar which you mentioned. In this way, only one person is required to import the CSV file into the shared calendar.

I guess this is the only way out:) but in this case, that person in charge of this shared calendar, I assume he needs to manually import and replace the shared calendar every time? I did some testing and seems that once we move the personal calendar to Public Folder (to be shared calendar), even using the same calendar name, it didn't get replaced. it created a new calendar in Public Folder then automatically renamed as xxx -copy.

Not an option on Win11 Calendar, but when I logged into outlook.live.com the interface allowed a similar way to swap to Family calendar when editing event from "more options" screen"
