OData Frequenct Connection Issues - ODataRequestNotSucceeded

I have a LinkedSerice that uses OData connector to hit an endpoint and receive response back.
The endpoints are always up and running (I verify always through postman) but the LS fails frequently with below error

ErrorCode=ODataRequestNotSucceeded,'Type=Microsoft.DataTransfer.Common.Shared.HybridDeliveryException,Message=Requesting response from path <>and query failed with status code ServiceUnavailable.

The issue happens randomly without providing more information.

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

How many rows are being returned and processed when you are encountering the Service Unavailable?

I am trying to understand whether the issue is happening when there is a large amount of data. If this is the case, can you introduce an additional filter to bring down the number of rows returned?

Also, can you increase the timeout to say 10 mins / 15 mins and see whether this resolves your issue ?

I've tried with filters as well like limit 5 to reduce the payload size but it still continues to happen. The issue happens randomly at random times. When I retry continuously, sometimes it goes through fine but then hours later it comes back randomly.

The source doesn't take more than 5seconds to send back the payload so I haven't changed the timeout setting (mine's already set at 5min).

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

I understand that you've tried with other clients like POSTMAN. But however, this error looks like a service side error- If possible, I'd recommend to check the logs at the service end. Meanwhile, I shall check internally for any reported / known issue and get back here.

We did not notice any errors/issues on the service side logs. When we test from other clients (postman etc.), it seems to work fine.
The frequency of this issue has now reduced but it still happens like twice a week I would say. When I retry like 5 or 6 times, it goes through fine but not sure why it fails intermittently.

Let me know if you find any more information or if anyone else has been experiencing the same issue.

I am also facing similar issue.
In my case, I am using Copy activity with OData dataset as source and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 parquet dataset as sink.
In the source tab, Preview data option works fine and I can see the data read from source.
But when I run the pipeline in debug mode, I get following error:
Failure happened on 'Source' side. ErrorCode=ODataRequestNotSucceeded,'Type=Microsoft.DataTransfer.Common.Shared.HybridDeliveryException,Message=Requesting response from path <table_name> and query failed with status code Unauthorized and message <error xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices/metadata">

<message lang="en-US">Invalid user ID or password.</message>
</error>
.,Source=Microsoft.DataTransfer.Runtime.ODataConnector,'

Error says "Invalid user ID or password", but as I am able to Preview data successfully, I don't think credentials have any issue.
Please guide on how to resolve this issue.
