Dear all:

The wsus recognize the Windows 2016 as Windows 10.

OS: WINDOWS SERVER 2012 R2 64bit

I do the operation of this link:
2012-r2-wsus-server-with-server-2016-clients-showing-as-windows-version-100

Both KB3095113 & KB3159706 have the same problem as the next attachment.

    Hi wenbin,

Thanks for your posting on Q&A.

As for the link, both KB 3095113 and KB 3159706 are in the Security Monthly Quality Rollup starting in July 2017. Just installing the latest Security Monthly Quality Rollup is OK.

    Hi wenbin,

To avoid misunderstanding, please help to confirm the following information:
Your Windows Server 2016 client shown the windows 10 version in the WSUS console. Is it right?

It seems a known issue at present on WSUS server 2012R2. Here is a related case for your reference:

If you use WSUS Automated Maintenance (WAM), the operating systems will be shown properly (like Windows Server 2016 Standard, Windows 10 Pro 1909, Windows Server 2016 Datacenter, Windows Server 2019 Standard, etc). But otherwise they all will report as Windows 10.0
