    you are running into a compiler limitation.

    to optimize, most compilers pool literal string resources, so if a string like "hello", is used twice, only one literal string is required. It is not unusual for the pool to have a max size. your code (not just this array) is defining too much space.

    you could move the long literals to resource files. nowadays, I'd probably define the array as a json resource file. it would be easier to maintain.

    you could also move the array to its own project. the fact that you hit the limit suggests you code is a large mono project, and should be broken up anyway.
