Meeting invite I sent is not on my calendar

I sent a teams meeting request to multiple people but it is not showing on my calendar and when someone accepts the invite, the response states as follows: We couldn't find this meeting in the calendar. It may have been moved or deleted.

I have resent the invite, but now all parties have two meeting on their calendars.

I tried looking in deleted folder and restored the one that said it was deleted (even though I never deleted it) but it has not been restored on my calendar.

Can someone please assist?

    Hi @Randi Brooke Osorio ,

Has this issue occurred to other meeting requests or this is the only meeting affected?
Was the meeting request sent out from your Outllook desktop client?

I tried looking in deleted folder and restored the one that said it was deleted (even though I never deleted it) but it has not been restored on my calendar.

May I know how did you attempt to restore the item? If the steps below haven't been tried, I'd suggest having a go and see if it can work:

    1. Find the meeting item in the Deleted Items folder.
    2. Try dragging and dropping the meeting to the Calendar icon on the bottom of the left side. If this can work, they you would be able to delete and cancel the problematic meeting from the calendar.

If the above doesn't work, you may try requestt one of the attendees to send the original meeting back to you as an ICS file (Open the meeting on their end, File > Save As.). Then you you can try to import the ICS into your calendar and see if it can allow you to send a cancellation.

Should the issue persists and assuming currently only this particular meeting is affected for some unknown reason, personally I'd recommend sending an email to the attendees to explain the situation and ask them to manually delete the problematic meeting from their calendars.

I've had this issue occur about three times over the past year now and have been unable to pinpoint the cause or a resolution aside from emailing the attendees, explaining what's happening, and ask them to delete the invite then having to resend for the revised time. Very frustrating. I've tried having the attendee send me the invite as an .ics and adding back to my calendar and also just having them forward it to me. I can get the meeting invite to then re-appear on my calendar, but Outlook doesn't recognize me as the Organizer, so I'm unable to cancel it. Very strange.

I also just tried the recommendation offered by @Yuki Sun-MSFT by dragging/dropping the invite from my Sent items folder and a dialogue box pops up that says "As the meeting organizer you don't need to send a response." yet as the meeting organizer I can't edit/delete/cancel the meeting either. It shows on my calendar as if I'm a regular attendee after having re-added it.

I sent from my desktop client and have sent dozens if not hundreds of other meeting invites in the same time period that haven't exhibited this issue.

I have the same problem that they mention and it appears to be an issue with Teams. I can see the message but I cannot accept or decline it because I am the organizer. I believe the easiest and most logical fix would be to add an option to Teams to send the invitation to myself so that this does not occur, or Microsoft could remove the ridiculous limitation on non-Exchange Outlook so that we can create Teams invitations directly from Outlook as we did for many years before. Please fix this so that we don't have to create duplicate meeting PLEASE!
