Our file share is a Mac file share using AFP and SMB, the OS is macOS 10.11.6. I can’t find Apple File Shares in the table. Can you help me pick which tool to select for migration of those files to a Azure File Share?

Amount of Data: 5 TB

Mac OS: 10.11.6

File share protocol: AFP & SMB

We want to keep the folder structure of the uploaded files and it would be nice but not a requirement to keep file RBAC.

We use Azure AD in a hybrid setup with our local AD and all user accounts are synched to Azure.

    @Elisha George
    We do not have a specific guide on migrating your AFP shares to Azure Files. To migrate we would recommend first migrating from AFP to SMB. Once migration to SMB is done you should be able to use RoboCopy to migrate your SMB share to Azure.

    Hope this helps. Let us know if you have additional questions or concerns.
