Network error: you cannot access

Question

I tried to set up a new computer. We need to use Quickbooks, the file was created in the server computer which is in our office. We need connect this computer to the server computer, but now when I map the network to the Server computer, click, It is always say "Network error: you don't have the permission to access that server computer" I did all possible changes like "Change advance sharing settings on the left pane." not sure why. I use windows 10, the server is windows 10 too. We have other computers are Ok. we set it up before.

Hi there,

Try turning on the SMB feature on the feature and see if that helps.

-Press Windows and R key together on your Keyboard.
-Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
-Click on 'Turn Windows Features On or Off' (upper left side of the pane).
-In the popup scroll down to SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support.
-Check the option and click on Ok.

Now restart both the machines and check if it is working now.
