Outlook App on Android - Open mailbox based on permissions

Hi all,

in our company we have about 80 or so collaboratively used user mailboxes on an on-prem 2016 exchange server. Users have permissions for these mailboxes (full access without automapping and send as) and have them added in their Outlook on their Win10 PCs by using their own credentails (UPN and PW of the user). We do not have the passwords written down anywhere since everyone is using the aforementioned method of accesing them.
We are in the process of switching to another MDM away from Sophos MDM where we used the Sophos Secure Mail App. We had the main user mailbox setup via config over the app and had the user themselves set up the other one (one of those 80) they needed, in the same way they did on their Outlook on Windows. It worked just fine.
Now since we can't use the Sophos Mail app anymore we have to use either Outlook, Samsung Mail or Gmail. What everyone of these does when we try to add one of those extra user mailboxes, the user has a permission on, is that it opens the main user mailbox again but with the name of the new mailbox. It seems like this way of opening a mailbox via the permissions of the user that has them, is not supported with EAS/Android.

How do you guys do it in your company? Is there a way around this problem?
I'm thankful for every help I can get.

Regards,
Ralf
