- I have not received any undelivered reports.
- There are no similar characteristics. They are not all together alphabetically in the Outlook Contact List, nor were they added at the same time.
- It is actually an Outlook Contact List I created over 2 years ago. I enter new addresses as Contacts into the Address Book, and then add those to the Contact List. I then always put the Contact List in the e-mails in the BCC line so as not to expose the e-mail addresses to others.
- I have tested the problem by manually entering each address and it works that way. I would have figured the Contact List has become corrupted; however it continues to work fine on Fridays when I send out the lesson plan.
- I have tried sending out the class notes on a day other than Sunday, but the same people who were not getting it on Sundays did not get it then either.
Outlook 2016 Distribution List Problem
I have been using a distribution list containing 72 names to communicate with my Sunday School class for over 2 years. I send out Sunday's lesson (Word attachment) on Fridays, and then I send prayer concerns, notes, etc. on Sunday afternoons. Starting 3 months ago about half of the names stopped getting my Sunday e-mails, but are still getting the Friday e-mails to this day. I created a second distribution list for the folks not getting my Sunday e-mails for just those e-mails, which solved the problem until last week. Now they once again are not getting the Sunday ones, but everyone still gets the Friday e-mails. Need suggestions on how to correct this.

Thanks for your reply and such a clear explanation!
According to your description, I noticed that you have tested the problem by manually entering each address and it works that way. Considering that you need to send emails to this contact group frequently, it is recommended that you try to create a template and enter all the contacts you need into BCC line. Then save the template to the desktop or anywhere you can easily open it. When you need to send mail to them, just double-click the template or open it in New items.
Next, follow the steps below to troubleshoot:
- Please delete the original contact group and your new contact group, rebuild a contact group containing the original owner, and then test to see if it is different.
- If the problem still exists, in order to further confirm whether the problem is related to the Outlook client, please try to log in to your web mail, create the same contact group and conduct the same test to check whether everyone in the contact group can receive the mail.
- If everything is OK on the client, the problem may be related to the outlook client. First make sure your outlook client is upgraded to the latest version.
- In order to avoid the interference of Outlook add-ins and other programs, it's suggested to close other programs temporarily and restart your Outlook in safe mode to check if the issue has any differences(Windows + R> type "outlook.exe /safe">enter).
- If this is still the issue in safe mode, it is suggested that you could try to create a new profile(Control Panel>Mail>Show Profiles>add) and add the account for testing to check if there are some differences.
- In addition, as I know, it will also be affected when the outlook program itself is damaged. It is recommended that you try to fix the Office application or uninstall and reinstall office.
Hope the above help! If your case has any update, please feel free to post back!
