OneDrive folder location on a network drive

Hi guys,

I'm trying to set OneDrive folder location on a network drive but getting this error.

Because users work in RDS farm and every time log in to different server OneDrive folder cannot be set up on a local drive.
Is it by design that OneDrive folder can't be created on a network drive?
