Cannot register exported VMs in Hyper-V Server 2012 R2

Hey,

we have 1 Server running Hyper-V, from which I exported 4 VMs to import them into our other server, a Hyper-V failover-cluster, 2 different physical server in the same AD. Host and guest systems are all Server 2012 R2.

I switched the aforementioned VMs off, exported them, copied them onto the cluster storage connected to the failover-cluster and now I can't import them (registration fails, no error in the event viewer because it isn't running due to rpc error 1723).

I haven't tried deleting the vms from the old Hyper-V server to have the configuration as fallback.

I also can't delete the copied folders from the cluster storage (Error 0x80070542)

There must be something simple I have been missing? Thanks in advance!
