Hi,
I'm in a pickle both embarrassing and professional.
I had two calls back to back with competing vendors. My first call (Teams) was running over so I asked to take a moment to log into the 2nd call (Google) to let them know I'd be joining in a moment. Part of my first call was being recorded.
On leaving the first I thought I had hung up but went back to the 2nd. I couldn't understand why my video wasn't working!
When I finished that call, over an hr later, I received an email from the first advising that they were having problems with retrieving the recording and would send it the next day. I then noticed my camera light on and realised that it was recording - it was still connected to the 1st call. When I received the recording this morning I realised that not only did it record my side of the second call but also got to record me leaving my office, having a very personal chat with my partner and coming back to my desk - quite frazzled with next steps...biting my nails, rubbing my eyes, head between my hands and practically tearing my hair out.....really not an attractive image!
Not only do I not want the potential vendor to have this....It's now also on my Teams videos folder and I can't delete it!
This IMO is a major flaw of teams. Why does the call not disconnect when the host disconnects!???? My preference was for the 1st vendors but now I feel they have a distinct advantage (if they look at it. They will surely know there is something up as the recording is over 2hrs long) I also feel I will be too embarrassed to deal with them.
How do I delete from Teams files and how do I ensure that the call host deletes it!?
