Unless you have a specific DB requirement and already have a SQL License there are little reasons to chose a SQL WSUS unless literally thousands of machines and dozens of sites (and in that case, usually SCCM is preferred). WID will be fine, it has a 254GB limitation and you will never hit that limit. The main reason to use SQL is for performance (especially as time goes on even running the cleanup util), better management tools, and having the database on a separate drive/datastore. If you have a SQL license, and you are comfortable with SQL queries and DB management, use that. If not, use WID.
