It appears as though the EdgeUpdate service begins, checks for updates, and then terminates rapidly. As a result, Windows believes it has encountered a failure.
I suggest you refer to the steps below.
- On Server Manager, click Services in the local server groups.
- In the Services Detail View, click the Services drop-down menu.
- Locate and deselect the Microsoft Edge Update Service.
- Click the OK button.
This will ensure that the service continues to function and the Edge browser receives the latest updates; however, it will not appear on the dashboard.
