SCCM TASK SEQUENCE TASK 'RESTART COMPUTER' NOT AUTOMATIC

When Creating an application task sequence and adding a general "Restart Computer" task, the computer wont restart automatically, I have to log into windows for the task to take effect. For debugging purposes this is an available task sequence but will be deployed as required when everything works. Will this 'required' deployment type change the behavior or the "Restart Computer" task

When you add the Restart Computer step, did you select "The currently installed default operating system" to run after restart?

Yes I have both options selected and unchecked 'Notify user before restarting' I created a required deployment and will see if this is truly unattended. Are there any task sequence logs I can reference when debugging this?

jIt turned out to be an application that restarted and broke the task sequence. I just added a /NORESTART flag to the applications in the task sequence and the restart computer sequence worked.
